Title change and musings on creating

Had dinner with my co-author Anna  on Friday evening. I have found that feeding her a steak gets her creative  urges  started...
Among other things we discussed concerning the sequel to "Terms" was a change in title.  The legal term for a change in legal document is amendment (as in the first or second amendment).  The terminology for what happens in the sequel, I have been told, is actually "Republication and Amendment", but that seems pretty cumbersome for a title, so we agreed on "Amendment."  We also know how the story will progress, and we think you will like it.  We continue to tell a cautionary tale of how much we take for granted, how much we assume,  in the world of apps, websites and social media.

Someone asked me what was the coolest thing about writing.  I got to thinking that what is coolest about writing is the same for any creative endeavor. It isn't just being a writer---it could be a painter, a poet, a musician, or any creative activity. When you create anything, it is like saying to the whole world (or just our little part of it) that it can destroy itself if it wants; we will create in spite of the craziness, it is what makes us human.

That, my friends, is a great thing!
